A new day in the journey.
Hello. A new day. A new beginning. Made myself a good cup of espresso. Such an amazing taste when the crema is thick and the milk is perfect....mmmmm. But I digress.
More film work to be done. Well not shooting anymore. But getting the film "out there" Now that we are doing a blog. We've realized how much more tethered we will become to the COMPUTER. The dreaded creature that drove us crazy during editing when "glitches" arose. The creature that we have a love hate relationship with. And now BLOGGING?
So today we became the "squeaky wheel" Why not? We thought in the end it's better to communicate and be heard. In a respectful manner of course. Not that we were really worried. We just felt that we had worked very hard on this film and want it to be seen, and not drift in the sidelines. I am being a little vague as to what happened.
The director of the festival was more than understanding and very gracious towards us. Fabulous non? It is hard getting a festival going. Just as hard as making a film. Again being the person who decides to go down the road less travelled usually has a lot of work ahead of them.
So moving full speed ahead into the unknown world of youtube, facebook, digg and so many others...........
We'd like to encourage other filmmakers to write to us about their stories of navigating the FESTIVAL ROUTE. What they did? What they encountered?
