Fernie Fix, a Fernie, BC-based lifestyle magazine has published an article on Lovers in a Dangerous Time.  Check it out here

I had to share this.

This is a quote from B-Side Entertainment re: Lovers in a Dangerous Time -

"Very well done, from beginning to end. The characters fit so well together, evoking a strong sense of emotion and feeling. Even though this film is certainly an independent, it has the feel of something so much more. The filmmakers, who obviously were very close to this story, really nailed it! This is without a doubt one of the best films I've seen in over a year. Find a way to see it."

FLIKS - Film Lovers in the Kootenay's

Check out this post from FLIKS - Click Here!

I'm a Lover in a Dangerous Time

May, Mark and I (among many others) went to see JBM open for Rogue Wave at the El Rey on Wilshire last night. As always, it was a lovely, stirring performance by Jesse. He is one of few musicians  that sound just as good live as on a recording. Indeed, there was nary a dry eye in the audience. He has that effect.

Rogue Wave was great. We ended up talking with Jesse during the actual show, but our ears perked up when we heard songs we especially liked by them (Eyes is a beautiful song). They are incredibly nice guys. I know I vouch for May and Mark when I say it was a pleasure to meet Dominic and Pat, as well as tour manager Jake at Froggy's the night before.

Their final show on this current tour is in San Francisco tonight at the Fillmore.
It's the end of a long and exhausting road.
So on that note, May uploaded Jesse's version of Lovers in a Dangerous Time on the official website under Music. Go have a look see!

The real work begins...

Promotion for the tour has officially begun! I can't quite keep up with all the Kootenay media outlets, I've contacted so many. I've made events on what feels like billions of local websites, and written Lovers in a Dangerous Time innumerable times. The Internet is a great thing, but boy can you get lost and overwhelmed.

A great Fernie, B.C. blog entitled Small Town Social has graciously accepted to write about our upcoming screening at the Vogue. They've already included the dates and relevant information on their events page! I was excited to come across such an active, snazzy, community-based blog. Very rarely does one see such incredible organization and passion for local events. And what fun events Fernie has too! If you live in the Fernie, B.C. area, check out Small Town Social for upcoming happenings in your area.

Anyway, back to work!!!
